Description
This map, prepared by Palestinian academic Salman Abu Sitta in 1998 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Al-Nakba (the Palestinian catastrophe), shows the towns and villages depopulated by the Zionist invasion of 1948. It also lists the massacres committed in 1948, and includes statistics about the dispossessed Palestinians. It analyzes demographics and concludes that the Palestinian right of return is sacred, legal, and possible.
