This coffee is roasted in Al-Ameed’s flagship roasteries in Jordan. This Palestinian-owned roastery is reputed to be in the Middle East, founded in Kuwait in 1973 and relocated to Jordan after the Gulf War.
To prepare: Boil water, remove from heat, add sugar and coffee, stir and return to heat, bring slowly back to boil, when coffee starts to rise, remove from heat, stir, return to heat and repeat for one minute without overboiling.
How to Prepare (for 2 cups):
- Bring 250ml (9 ﬂ. oz.) of water to boil
- Remove from heat and add 3 teaspoons and sugar to taste
- Reduce heat and simmer
- Stir gently, move away from heat to avoid boiling over
- Repeat the above step once or twice
- Serve and enjoy
